Many of my friends at Dubbing and Fans group ask me how I do my fandub and fansong. This is tutorial how to record voice to computer and combine it with video to get fandub or fansong.

Tools that you should have

1. Microphone. I’m Using GE microphone like this

2. Computer Off course

3. Free HQ Recorder

4. Any Movie editing (I’m using Adobe Premiere pro 1.5)

How to do fandub:

1. Choose what film do U want to dub

2. Prepare the dialog by yourself (I usually write it at notepad)

3. Run the video but mute the sound

4. use Free HQ recorder to record it

a. Open Free HQ Recorder

b. Press the record button (red circle button)

c. Press Stop when U done

d. File will be have format like this

e. (optional) On menu, you can change the recording file location and many setting if you want

5. Open Adobe Premiere pro 1.5 and add your voice to the video. I will not explain it detail here. But if there some one who want me to make the tutorial, I’ll post it

The result gonna be like this

If you dont have the BGM or SFX, I prefer to decrease the original voice than mute it. Like this
